Caohejing Innovation Center has been recognized as a World’s Top 5 Public/Private business incubator via a live stream event conducted by UBI Global.

UBI Global, the Stockholm-based innovation intelligence company and community known for the assessment and mapping of business incubators and accelerators, released the top lists and top challengers as assessed by the World Benchmark Study 2021-2022.

The World Benchmark Study helps incubators and accelerators understand the value and impact they have on client startups and the local innovation ecosystem, offering international recognition to top performers worldwide. Participating programs not only gain ranking information and a benchmark assessment, but also own data-driven impact and performance analysis in the form of an intuitive scorecard infographic. Profiles of participating incubators and accelerators as well as their client and alumni startups are promoted through various events held by UBI Global in response to multinational corporations seeking new technologies, innovation, talent, and/or investment opportunities.

Achievement of top-ranked status among peer programs, as assessed by the UBI Global World Benchmark Study, means that Caohejing Innovation Center demonstrates exceptional value for client startups, value for the local ecosystem, and overall attractiveness as a programme.

“Following a rigorous data-driven approach, we assessed and benchmarked incubation organizations across the world,” said Joshuah Sowah, Head of Research at UBI Global. “Our study is in tune with the multiple facets of the international incubation ecosystem and illustrates critical challenges and opportunities the participating organizations face.”

“We are very much honored to be included in the WBS rankings, which raised a recognition of our past work at a global scale, as well as a higher goal for our future work”, Haofeng Lai, General Manager of Caohejing Innovation Center, said in his video address to the awards ceremony which took place in Ghent, Belgium, on January 24.

In addition to providing key metrics on performance and impact that business incubators and accelerators use to improve their programs, participants in the study are also the first business incubators and accelerators to use the new Benchmark Tool on the Global Innovation Studios portal.
