This industry employs thousands of people and produce important products for societal development but is also a large source of greenhouse gas emissions.

In the interest of achieving its higher education and research and development goals, the University of Óbuda, in consortium with the City of Székesfehérvár and the cooperation of mainly, but not exclusively, local and regional economic actors, plans to implement a Mechatronics Science Innovation Park, thus expanding and complementing the presence of the University of Óbuda in the city and the region
